Over the years, I’ve heard from a number of constituents about the challenges of living with chronic pain – and the impact it has on day-to-day life.
The Scottish Government has launched a consultation on how we can improve care and prescribing for chronic pain between 2026 and 2029. It’s a chance to shape how support is delivered in the years ahead – making sure it’s compassionate, effective, and based on what people really need.
Around 38% of adults in Scotland live with chronic pain – so this is an issue that affects families and communities across both Clackmannanshire and Stirling.
If you or someone you care for is affected, I’d encourage you to take part.
