Following concerns raised locally about the impending closure of the Co-op store, I’m pleased to share that Link has recommended that Bridge of Allan should be served by a new free-to-use ATM.

This will help ensure that local people continue to have convenient access to cash — an essential service for many. Link has confirmed that nearby facilities should meet wider demand, so this new machine will be the only change recommended at this stage.

The next step is for Link to identify funding and get the ATM in place as soon as possible. I’ll be keeping in touch with Link to make sure progress is made quickly.
