I was proud to lodge a motion recognising the incredible achievements of Ellie Hodge from Alloa Academy, along with Seren McNaught and Kyle Blain from Lornshill Academy – three outstanding young people who were finalists at this year’s Young Scot Awards.
Ellie was not only named winner of the Health and Wellbeing Award, but also crowned Young Scot of the Year 2025 – a truly remarkable recognition of her leadership, advocacy and voluntary work supporting others in school and beyond.
Having three finalists from Clackmannanshire is a testament to the talent, ambition and spirit of our young people, and the strength of opportunities in our local schools.
Congratulations again to Ellie, Seren and Kyle on their outstanding achievements.
