Storm Éowyn continues to cause disruption throughout the Clackmannanshire, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane area and the situation is changing constantly. At the moment, I am aware of several ongoing issues.

There has been a fire at Dunblane train station due to a falling tree hitting power lines and in the area near Newton Primary School I understand that a tree has fallen on power lines causing power outages in the vicinity.

In Bridge Of Allan, the Primary School roof has been damaged and there are reports of road closures at Charlton Rd, and Alexander Drive.

Alloa High Street is currently closed due to an unsafe building and part of the roof at Asda has been damaged.

Trees are down at Main Street – Tullibody, Claremont at the junction of Alexandra Drive – Alloa, Scott Crescent – Alloa, Redwell Place – Alloa, Stirling Road – Tullibody.

Power outages are reported in the Dollar and Muckhart area.

I would urge constituents to continue to follow police advice and remain at home, unless absolutely necessary.

Most bus services in the area are suspended until 6pm, at the earliest, and ScotRail say that extensive damage to the network means there will be no trains running until midday tomorrow, at the earliest.
