Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Clackmannanshire & Dunblane constituency, is encouraging local young musicians to apply for funding through the Eilidh MacLeod Memorial Trust.
Speaking this afternoon, Keith said:
“Eilidh’s Trust was established in memory of Eilidh MacLeod, a 14-year-old from the Isle of Barra who tragically lost her life in the 2017 Manchester Arena terrorist attack.
“The trust is dedicated to supporting young musicians, reflecting Eilidh’s passion for music and her remarkable talent as a piper in the local school pipe band.
“Since 2019, the Trust has provided over 60 grant payments to various organisations and applications will be considered from individuals and groups all over Scotland, across every genre, offering grants up to £1500. The Trustees will determine the amount awarded following an assessment of the application.
“Applicants have until midnight on 30 April 2024 to apply and I would encourage any young musicians in my Clackmannanshire & Dunblane constituency who meet the criteria to apply for support from this fund.”
