The MSP for Clackmannanshire and Dunblane Keith Brown has recently lodged a motion in the Scottish Parliament congratulating Clackmannanshire tenants and residents’ federation on its 30th anniversary.
Following a visit to the Sauchie resource center to celebrate this important milestone in November, the MSP has lodged a motion in the Scottish Parliament recognising this immense achievement.
Clackmannanshire tenants and residents’ federation stands up for tenants’ rights and the improvement of housing conditions in Clackmannanshire – and has worked closely with community councils, Clackmannanshire Council and the emergency services in pursuit of that goal for the three decades it’s been in operation – something which was referenced in Keith’s motion.
Commenting, SNP MSP for Clackmannanshire and Dunblane, Keith Brown, said:
“It was a privilege to attend the 30-year celebration of Clackmannanshire Tenants and Resident’s federation in Sauchie resource center a few weeks ago.
“Throughout my time as the local MSP I’ve seen the difference that Clackmannanshire Tenants and Residents Federation has made in pursuit of better housing conditions across Clackmannanshire.
“I felt it was important to put this hard work on record, and to pay thanks to those who have been involved in this organisation during its lifetime, as well as wishing the organisation further success for the future – and that’s why I was proud to submit this motion celebrating Clackmannanshire Tenants and Residents federation’s success.”
