Clackmannanshire and Dunblane MSP, Keith Brown has congratulated Clackmannan Primary School on achieving their third Green Flag Award.

The Green Flag Awards are made by Eco-Schools Scotland to schools who take part in a range of environmental related activities and Mr Brown joined Clackmannanshire’s Education Convener, Councillor Ellen Forson, last week to present the award to the school.

Commenting, Keith said: “It was a pleasure to visit Clackmannan Primary and meet the pupils from the Eco-Committee.

“I was very interested to hear from the pupils about some of the activities they took part in to achieve their third Green Flag – including the sensory garden which is fantastic.

“I think it’s a great initiative for the school to be a part of and I’m delighted that they’ve won another Green Flag Award as a result.”
