SNP continues to be the party of choice in Clackmannanshire

The SNP continues to be the party of choice in Clackmannanshire after it secured the largest share of the vote in last week’s European Election – both in the county and across Scotland.

In Clackmannanshire the SNP took 33.2% of the vote and seven years into an SNP Government, the SNP remains the most popular party in Scotland with 29% of the vote.

Commenting, local SNP MSP, Keith Brown said:  “This is a fantastic result for the SNP who have topped a nationwide poll five out of last six times in Clackmannanshire.

“Winning another national election after seven years in Government is a real vote of confidence in the SNP Government.”
